About the course
Your UCT website is often the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors — and this course makes sure you're equipped to manage it well. Drupal for Content Managers is the required foundation course for all UCT staff who will be creating, editing or maintaining content on a UCT website.
Delivered over four practical half-day sessions, the course covers everything you need to work confidently in UCT's Web Content Management System (Web CMS). You'll learn to navigate the Drupal platform, use the Workbench dashboard to create and edit content, manage images and documents, and apply UCT's web standards and best practices throughout.
This is a compulsory course — access to the Drupal platform is only granted once training is complete. Whether you're joining an existing web team or setting up a new site, this course gives you the foundation to manage your web presence with confidence.
