This course is aimed at Clinical Coders and Case Managers; those seeking a career in Clinical Coding or Case Management.

Course Content

The course consists of two days of lectures and a 6-week distance learning assignment covering intermediate rule and conventions pertaining to:

• The integumentary system
• The musculoskeletal system
• Cardiovascular system
• Urinary system
• Male genital system
• Female genital system
• Maternity care and delivery

Registration

Completion of Basic Training in Complete Current Procedural Terminology for South Africa is an entry requirement.
