Effective Criminal Justice Responses to Gender-based violence

About the course

This course aims to raise awareness about, and to foster the use and application of, relevant international standards and norms by the judiciary when dealing with criminal cases involving Gender-based Violence against Women and Girls (GBVAWG). It also highlights applicable best practices for cases involving gender-based violence in order to assist judicial officers to prevent incidents of secondary victimisation to women and girls who seek justice.
