Whether you are thinking about doing postgraduate research or have begun your research, this course is for you. You do not have to be registered for a degree. It has been designed to be used in different ways. It can be used to take you through some starting-out steps focused on writing about ideas for the research you want to do, or trying out (new) ways of writing about the research you're doing. It is intended to take you five to six weeks, but the structure is flexible.
Every week, you will be required to do some writing to share with others, working towards a written product of your choice (approx. 4 pages long) that you complete at the end of the course. We will meet on Tuesday afternoons for our Just Chat (advance your knowledge of research writing) and Friday afternoons for our Just Write to support writing as a practice.
